I was gonna show you the pretty design on it and tell you it's all done by hand.
But never got the chance.
Instead,
When I came home from work, my eleven year old son asked me what was for dinner, gee, I thought to myself, "I don't know." Since I didn't answer right away, he asked if it would be cereal again! Cereal, I was confused. Yes, every once in a great while we have breakfast for dinner, crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles and biscuits (does anyone else do that)? But never cereal. So I asked my son what he was talking about. He said last week when I was on the computer for most of the night(he exaggerates a little) doing my blogging, I didn't make dinner so he made himself a bowl of cereal (that explains the clean kitchen).
I quickly remembered how I always wanted to be nominated for mother of the year and thought for sure if one of my boys wrote an essay on why their mother should be chosen and wrote in the essay how they have cereal for dinner on the evenings that their mom does her blogging, I knew for sure their essay would be disqualified and thrown in the trash.
Being the good mom that I am, not wanting to disappoint my kids, I made them dinner and we enjoyed a nice family evening together. Now, the vision of me winning the mother of year award gleams brighter then before.
So, your probably wondering what am I gonna make them for dinner this evening, since I'm blogging.
Leftovers!
Oh, I just know I'm gonna win that award!!

What a funny post.. :-)
About having breakfast for dinner. We did that a lot when I was growing up. It was usually pancakes or french toast and lots of crispy bacon. Good food tastes great anytime of the day.
Love your gorgeous bedspread. Very pretty.
This was so funny!! Yes, we have breakfast for dinner quite often. I love cold cereal for dinner during the summer - and bacon, eggs, and grits are good anytime with a fresh picked tomato. Guess you can see I am from the south.
The bedspread is beautiful, love the colors.

I'm so happy you stopped by!! If you hadn't I would never have found your BEAUTIFUL blog! I was a little worried when I posted that story about the snake, that some people would be upset that my son killed the snake, but, seriously, I wouldn't have come down off that table otherwise :)
Hope you don't mind but I am going to visit your lovely blog for a while :) Oh, and I'm definitely adding you to my favorites. LOVE, your iron gate. I have one in my living room (earlier post)
Hugs,
Toni
