Vintage aqua hat with the most delicate millinery flowers!! Total sweetness.
Both hats are in mint condition, doesn't look like they have ever been worn. The price for the aqua hat?, yep, $10.00.
I have a foyer table and on each end of the table, I have a vintage wrought chair. On one of the chairs, I have a vintage hat that sits on top.
The other chair doesn't have one. I thought the cream puff hat would look fabulous on the other chair but sadly, the hat is isn't big enough.
So, I've been carrying my new vintage hat around the house trying to find something to put it on. I'll let you know where the hat finally ends up.
You may remember this picture, another vintage hat sits on top of a cast iron cherub candle holder. So much fun decorating with hats.
This is the close of the hat, also in mint condition.
My shabby dog even wears a vintage hat.
Do you remember the post I did about my sister Mary, the quilter? I even did a post about the quilt she made me. Well, she finally has a blog and did her first post last night. I'm so proud of my big sister!! If you get a chance, please stop by Mary's blog and welcome her to the blog world. Mary's blog is called paper fabric scissors.
My friend Kristen made the template for her blog and you find Kristen here
and here.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the fall weather, Janice
