On Saturday, my hubby and I went to the historic, quaint little town of Boulder City, about a 20 minute drive from where we live. They were having their annual event called "Art in the Park" where the cities park is filled with vendors selling their one of kind art pieces. We went to Boulder City not to really see the art but to visit the antique stores that have their sidewalk sales just for this event. My friends, Maryann and Nancie have a drop dead gorgeous shabby chic booth in an antique store called Goat Feathers. Lets begin our tour on the outside of the building.
Is this too charming or what. This is painted on the outside of the store.
This one of the entrances, love the Christmas vignette above the door.
Cute tie back curtains
A painted plaque on the outside briefly describes the history of the building that Goat Feathers now occupies.
Yep, love these windows!
Lets step inside, shall we?
This is the space that Maryann and Nancie share, aren't these doors fabulous. Nancie hauled them all the way from Texas and they are for sale!!
Oval windows and thick wood carvings surround the window!
Cute, vintage items for sale.
My sweet friend Mary would love this booth, with all the pretty, vintage teacups for sale.
Vintage window with pink curtains.
The following pictures are just random shots taken inside Goat Feathers.
Gorgeous vignettes displayed throughout the store.
Lets go outside to the side walk sale.
Pretty mirror, door, & window frames just to name a few items that were sale.
Patio furniture, lamps, candles, huge assortment of items!
Child's metal table and chairs, picture frames
And these are my sweet friends, pictured left to right, Maryann, who's booth was featured. She shares her booth with Nancie, (who is not pictured), Katie, Maryann's daughter, and Jessie, Katie's husband. I have to tell ya, this group of people all have such bubbly personalities all three are just adorable and they always have a smile on their face, you would just love them! So, are you wondering how we all met? Standing in line at an estate sale, too funny!
I hope you enjoyed your tour of Goat Feathers, in Boulder City, Nevada. I'll be doing a part 2 of this post in a week or so, so stay tuned.
Make it a great week, Janice

Ooooooohh. What a gorgeous place. I'd love to shop there, but sadly, it's way too far away for me to visit. Thanks for giving me a little tour though. Maybe someday, if I ever make it to Nevada, I'll to pay them a visit.

Absolutely love the pictures....!
Your mother took me there on one of my trips out there. It is a really fun place to wander through - so many cute things and decorating ideas!
How have I missed your blog? It's lovely and I'll be back for sure....I gasped when I saw your china roses on your sidebar...YUM! I saw somewhere here in blogville that someone had used loads of those and attached them to the top of a plain mirror to recreate one of those super expensive barbola mirrors.... DELISH!
Blessings,
Spencer
What a fabulous store! I see so many things I would love to buy!
