Here's a picture of my foyer, the first area of my home as you walk in the front door. I love the space and has some of my best shabby yet chic items. The cast iron gate that hangs on the wall in the background, I bought from a cute shop and the owner of the shop had just bought the gate into her shop when I nabbed it from her. The gate is perfectly rusty and crusty, chippy white paint and I just love the cast iron flowers that are in the center of the gate. The space changes from time to time. I'm thinking abought removing the vintage quilt that hangs on the wall now and replacing it with something else, don't know what I will replace it with so now it will stay in place. I'll take some close ups of the table to give you a better idea of what's on it. Any suggestions on what should replace the quilt? Perhaps a vintage window? I have one in my bedroom that is the perfect pink which I think will work well in the space. Ok gals that's it for now, I hope you all have a dazzling day.

China galore
This is just one of my china hutches filled with china. There's just something about vintage china that makes my heart flutter. Prior to purchasing this hutch from Jim, my shabby chic guy, I had all this china tucked away in cabinets, can you believe that? I love this hutch perfectly shabby with ample display room. Now all my china is out in the open, proudly displayed. Some time ago, the hutch had a glass door with glass sides. The glass was gone when Jim bought it and placed chicken wire in it's place where the glass was. So creative and I love the look. What do you think? I'd love to hear your comments. Have a fabulous day, Janice
